WHAT WE DO:

SCL is a complete build general contracting company and we’ve been building in Seattle area for almost 25 years. We like to say we’re not just a contractor, but a “working contractor." Not only do we collaborate with the area’s best subcontractors, but we perform many of the services ourselves in-house. With a “can do, safety first” attitude, SCL will take on virtually any project, from residential remodels and custom homes, to multifamily, commercial buildings, tenant improvements, retail spaces and medical and dental suites. SCL also specializes in complete demolition, excavation and UST Removal and Contaminated Soil Remediation. SCL has been successful because of our extreme versatility and adaptability on every project, along with our ability to exceed expectations.

Because we retain ownership of many of our properties, we have a unique perspective of someone on the inside. We understand the importance of finding the most cost effective way to build and exactly how to implement those methods. We can truly relate to our customers because we understand exactly what it’s like to build a project within a specific budget and precise timeline. We also recognize the importance of protecting and maintaining the investments our clients make and are here to assist them in that process as well. We have countless clients that return to us project after project for their residential and commercial needs and those relationships are paramount to our business.

We hope that our site will give potential clients a glimpse of what we have to offer, since only a fraction of the work we’ve done is represented here. Our goal is to assist our clients in making the best decision possible for their building and contracting needs while developing lasting relationships in the process. SCL is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for the benefit of our employees, clients, subcontractors and the general public. The SCL Safety Program is critical to both the success of each project and our daily operations. Our company safety program complies with and/or exceeds all local, federal and state regulations. We implement our training from classroom education and past work experience on each and every job by maintaining a “safety first” attitude. Our employees have training in OSHA 10 & 40 hour Occupational Safety and Health, Traffic Control Flagger training, Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead, CPR/First Aid Training, UST Decommissioning and OSHA 40 hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Training (HAZWOPER).
